Birthday time

39 years ago today I had my oldest son Scott. It is so hard to believe he is that old, or even harder to believe that I am actually old enough to have a son that age. Scott was the most mischievous little boy, not a mean bone in his body, just inquisitive, creative, loved to play and he played hard. He used every waking minute to the maximum. He was so much fun. So, Happy Birthday Scott. We love you!

This card I will also use for Pat's Saturday night challenge. The challenge was to use some embossing. I used Gold Ultra thick Embossing Enamel on the initial S. and attached it to the card with a little brad. The denim paper is by Me and My Big Ideals. I used the Cricut to cut out the 39, and used 3-D dots to attach it to the brown paper that had planes, trucks and ball caps on it. It did not have a name on the back of it. Thanks for letting me share.

Scott will love this card! You did a great job, it would be perfect for my husband (I'd have to change the numbers of course) but his faorite color is purple:)
I haven't blogged much this month, we have year round school here and my son Greg is out of school this month so I feel guilty stamping when he is with me. He'll be back in school March 2 and I will be able to get back into my routine!

Oh to be 39 again. Hope Scott had a great day. That is the perfect guy card. It is always hard to make/buy cards for the men in our lives--most designs are kind of feminine. I am sure he loved his card. Hope you'll have a special birthday.
