Christmas in July was the theme of Pat's Saturday Night challenge. And let me remind you that it was 95 degrees and humidity at 68 percent the day I made these cards. I kept singing Jingle Bells trying to convince myself it was 30 degrees outside but it just didn't work. Maybe that is the reason that I wasn't too pleased with my first attempt, and then the second didn't turn out like I envisioned it would. I think it was just one of those weeks, when there was no creativity running through my veins. But here are pictures of both of my attempts. Thanks Pat, for having the challenge to look forward to each week.

I like them!
It was hard making a Christmas card with the weather outside being so warm and sunny! (I just lowered my air conditioner so it was really cold inside! lol)
I too like the cards but it just reminds me how fast time is going by. Christmas will be here way to soon. I'm not over last Christmas yet. Your creative juices are always running.*
I think they look great! I love the ribbon accents. I'm crazy - all the new stamp releases have had me singing Silver Bells all month! I'm going to regret not enjoying summer when school comes around, haha!
Great cards!!
They are fantastic--love the glittery ornaments....makes me nervous to think that I need to be thinking about Christmas already! yipes!
you can always be in the mood for christmas....harder when it's hot, but it still gets me thinking ....what cards to make this year????
loved both of them
