Can you believe I have been blogging one year today. I looked back, at all my post, and I have had quite a variety of different post. One thing I notice was how faithful I was at the very beginning to post everyday. Things sure have slowed down. Another sad thing, was the mention of the passing of several of my friends. Things sure change in one year don't they. I celebrated this anniversary earlier yesterday. I worked on my pretty things almost all weekend. It was a real rainy weekend, so I used it to finish up some things I had started and sit aside. I have met so many wonderful people, too many to mention. And I want to thank all my FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS. the ones that always checks and leaves such special remarks.
Here is one of the cards I made over the weekend. I still do not know what sentiment I will put on the inside of it yet.
Robyn had made the cutest little vase possible for Pat's Saturday night challenge. And vases were on my mind. You can't tell from this picture, but the little vase is cut out and put on with pop dots. It stands out from the rubbed on flowers beneath it. I added a little curve in the paper to make it look real. I added several layers of paper and changed directions of some of the layers. I used two layers of embossed paper. I hand stitched little holes around the layer that holds the vase. I also added several layers inside, so it wouldn't be front heavy. Thanks for listening and looking today.
