"I simply remember my favorite things"

I simply remember my favorite things . . . . . .And then I don't feel so bad

And now I can not get that song out of my head. My DH will probably nudge me in the middle of the night, and say stop singing in your sleep.

Pat's challenge was to do use your favorite technique, or show a new or old favorite layout or card, use a favorite stamp, or something to do with FAVORITE. I did an altered frame. Altering is my favorite thing to do, but the FAVORITE thing about my entry is knowing this is going to make someone smile. Just recently I have reconnected with a woman that I went all 12 grades of school with. It has been so much fun, remembering, and finding out about our lives now. I found this picture recently and had it laying on my desk, and attached Pam a scanned copy of it in a recent email. The clarity of it was really bad, and she could not really see the people in it very well. When Pat mentioned favorite for the challenge, I knew right away this is what I would do. This fills the challenge in several ways. Like I said, it will make someone smile, and another of my favorite things to do, is to go back in time through pictures. Pam is the little cute girl on the second row, 2nd from the right. We were around 8 years old at the time. I put the picture in a little frame that has magnetic strip on the back, then added a few embellishments. Thanks for spending a little time looking today.

Robyn, what a friend you are. b&w ??? I could lie and say, I like the vintage look, so I altered it, but well I have to admit, they probably didn't have color.

I tried to find Shelia in the picture but could not. B&W is the way to go. I'm in a B&W picture of a toy band hanging in the court house. Its great to go back thanks for some memories.*

You hit on my favorite subject. At our annual Christmas gathering, my High School girlfriends reflected on the "good old days." What fun we had!! I brought all my 1979/1980 scrapbooks (not as colorful as they are today) and we laughed our heads off. The hair and clothes we wore..OMG!!! Now Shelia you didn't tell us which one in the picture is YOU...
