Icing on the Cake

Remember Carolyn's whose birthday was last week. Well, she called me at 7:30 this morning. She had a little something to give me. She had made my DH and me this 3 layer cake for our Wedding anniversary. She wanted to give it to me early in case I wanted to take it to our family dinner today. Well I had not eaten breakfast yet, so this is what happened. I had me a slice cut and my coffee poured before she even got out of the driveway. It was delicious with my morning coffee. Her husband had left their house going fishing at 4:30 AM, so she stayed up and made this. The cake was perfect. It was so moist. But the card she wrote was the best. Inside it said Allan (my husband ) was as sweet as the cake, but that he was so much better with Shelia , "THE ICING" . Now wasn't that so sweet. What a neat Anniversary saying. See I told you last week what a great FRIEND, Carolyn is.
