The Weekend

This has been a really good weekend. First Friday night that I mentioned in the last post. Then on Saturday to a cook out at my neighbors house. She is back from a long vacation, and her son is getting ready to go back to college. I got to see her family again and had wonderful food. Then tonight again to a cookout. Our long time friend Bill was celebrating his birthday. All his children were there and several grandchildren. I got to see his granddaughter (hey, Steph) and her family, that I have not seen in over a year. she has 3 of the best looking boys, you have ever seen, and their manners are wonderful and that is something you don't see much any more.

Bill served in the US Marine Corp during WWII. I love to hear him reflect back on those times. I made him a card, letting him know how much I appreciate he did for me back then, and also made an altered Altoid tin, with Marine memorabilia on it.

It is back to work for me, tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good week.
