Around here you really know fall is here. The cold mornings, and then comfortable afternoons. And Pat's favorite thing, the rustle of the leaves. But at my house it means raking and lots of it. They swirl around and stay right in front of my deck steps. I have swept the brick walkway 2 times today and there is no way I can keep people from tracking in dried leaves. Can I say
BAH HUMBUG at fall too? I mentioned on Wednesday that I probably would not get to see the grand-daughters on Halloween. Well to my surprise the other Nana brought Natalie to see me. Unfortunately the 8 year old was sick.
Nat had been to the festival at the church and was so proud of her balloon animal.
This picture is of Natalie's other grandmother Cheryl and my husband Allan. If you look real close on the right hand side, you can see Miss Flossie, trying to figure out just what all the excitement is about.

This is Janet, my sister in law, that celebrated her 80th birthday today. We were on our way out of town to celebrate at her favorite restaurant, when I snapped this picture. She sure doesn't look 80 does she? The most wonderful thing about Janet is that she is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.
Everyone have a Blessed Day.
