Do you remember this post from last week ?.. It was of a Robin building a nest in some tall shrubbery, where it is eye level as we go down our deck steps.
When I came home today and had my hands full, with groceries this robin came flying out of the bush at me. I thought he was going to flog me. I went back later and peeped and this is what I found. I can't wait to see them hatch out and grow. I will probably get a peck in the eye, if Mama Robin thinks I'm getting too close.
There is nothing in which the birds differ more from man than the way in which they can build and yet leave a landscape as it was before.- Robert Lynd

This is amazing!! I never realized how blue their eggs actually are. Keep us posted on the development of these little beings.
Like Pat, I was going to comment on how blue the eggs were. A beautiful picture and just like you to continue with something like this.
Our nest picture I sent you...the 5 eggs gradually disappeared..I don't know if he destroyed them or if they hatched, she moved them due to the high heat since she nested in the outdoor grill. We were hoping for babies..oh well...
What a coincdence I was trimming some bushes at the back of our house and found a robins nest just like that it only had 1 egg in it, I hope I didn't disturbe it to much. isn't nature wonderful.*
I'm with Mom - I didn't know they looked THAT blue! Very cool!
